FICTION PLANE announces New York show for August 13 at the Mercury Lounge!

Fiction Plane announces late-summer New York performance!


After spending their summer sharing festival stages in central Europe with the likes of The Killers, Chickenfoot, Joss Stone, and Bruce Springsteen, the ever-diligent Fiction Plane has announced its return to American shores with a special one-off performance in New York City!

On August 13 at 8pm, Fiction Plane will take the stage at the prestigious Mercury Lounge which has a rich history of great musicians gracing its hall, including Lou Reed, Jeff Buckley, The Strokes, The Killers, and even Tony Bennett.

Fiction Plane’s live show is not to be missed, as the band blends soulful passion, high energy, and a romping good time into each set.

Tickets are $10 and go on sale on July 23. The show is designated‘21 and over’. Doors are at 7:30pm.

Following the show, Fiction Plane will make its way back to Europe for one last summer festival, before resuming work on its forthcoming third full-length album, with legendary producer Paul Corkett (The Cure, Nick Cave, Björk, Tori Amos). Fans can expect to hear material from the forthcoming album, as well as some Fiction Plane favorites before the album hits stores.
