Fiction Plane to play the Glastonbury Festival on June 25!

According to the official Glastonbury Festival website, Fiction Plane are to perform at the renowned festival on June 25 2010! They are scheduled to perform on the Queen's Head stage alongside Good Shoes, Magic Numbers, The Mystery Jets, Fanfarlo, Detroit Social Club, Tubelord, Tiffany Page, Frank Turner, and The Beat.

This date has not yet been posted on Fiction Plane's official website.

This would mark the second time Fiction Plane has played the Glastonbury Festival. The last time Fiction Plane played the festival was back in 2004.

Pre Order SPARKS NOW!

Fiction Plane has begun pre-sales of SPARKS which will see its release in France on the 10th May and Benelux on the 14th May. Also on May 10th, a digital download release of Sparks will become available to fans in the UK, Australia, Asia and South America. Fans can pre-order the album by clicking below.

Fiction Plane is working hard on a Northern American release and hope to have more news on this soon. Expect a fall release and tour as well

Like last year, Fiction Plane is gearing up for a heated summer of festivals and other fun oddities. Here is the first round of confirmed dates:

FICTIONPLANE.COM back online to support New Album!

Finally, after years of anticipation, fictionplane.com has officially launched.

While there is not yet a lot of content up, there is a music player featuring the new single "Push Me Around," a couple of cool photo galleries, news and tour dates, and some other goodies.

Their official forum is not yet activated, but if you enter your email to join the site, you get a free link to download a new version of "Sadr City Blues," which is said to be included only on the Special Edition version of the Sparks CD!

New Single 'Push Me Around' released in Continental Europe!

The first single from the record "Sparks" is now available. The track entitled "Push me around" is available through iTunes in the EU (excl UK). You can hear the track on our music player and can buy the download here from the European iTunes

The single was recorded in Bath, England by producer Paul Corkett.


Fiction Plane recently recorded a video for this single in London that reportedly ended in a brawl, according to their twitter feed.

They also recorded two promotional stops to promote the release of the single. Check them out below:
